Piller Usa, Inc. to construct new facility in the town of Wallkill

In 2016 Piller’s US operations will move from its current Middletown facility to a larger newly constructed freehold facility in Middletown, New York. A Ground breaking ceremony was held on April 24th attended by many high level dignitaries, with the first sod turned by William Langley of Langley Holdings plc.

Piller USA, Inc. plans to construct a new 24,000 square foot light industrial/office headquarters facility on Wes Warren Drive in the Town of Wallkill. Piller USA, Inc. has an existing workforce of 77 employees, with 40 employees based in the Middletown headquarters.

Piller, Inc. entered Orange County in 1995 when it purchased KW Control Systems, Inc., in the Town of Wawayanda, and remained there until 2004 when it relocated to the Town of Wallkill. In 2009 its name was officially changed to Piller USA, Inc.

Maureen Halahan, President & CEO of the Orange County Partnership stated, “Orange County is privileged that Piller USA, Inc. chose to remain in the county when other options existed. We applaud Dean Richards, Piller’s President & CEO for his commitment to his employees, the Town of Wallkill and Orange County. This new construction will generate $2.8 in capital investment and support approximately 84 construction jobs. All available resources will be used to ensure this project’s success.”
