ARO establishes new outpost in Brazil
ARO Welding Technologies enhances its global presence by opening a subsidiary in Brazil.
Brazil is an enormous market for resistance welding, particularly in the automotive sector. The country already benefits from an important installed base of ARO equipment, and the newly formed “ARO Tecnologias de Soldagem Ltda” will accelerate ARO’s growth in this market by competently supporting the latest technologies, such as servo guns and adaptive weld controllers.
The office is established in Santo André, SP, and is operational from October 1st, 2013. Michel Giacosa, who already manages ARO operations across South America and Mexico, is the Managing Director, while Sales and Service are locally managed by Paulo Dourado, who is well known by most of ARO customers for many years.
Brazil is the ARO group’s eleventh global facility, and confirms ARO’s commitment to support its clients globally.
