Cowes Week TOE IN THE WATER
Langley's Farr 45 "Atomic" has been loaned to TOE IN THE WATER, the charity for injured servicemen who will be competing in Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week 2011 (6th-13th August).
Toe in the Water, takes wounded military personnel sailing as part of their rehabilitation and have been nominated as the official Cowes Week charity for the next three years. Since entering its first crew at Cowes Week in 2008, the charity has taken more than 120 injured servicemen and women sailing, recording top-ten finishes across numerous regattas.
Cowes Week is the oldest and largest annual sailing regatta in the World. The event boasts an 8-day schedule combining competitive racing and great fun for the 8,500 competitors racing and 100,000 spectators who enjoy a fantastic line up of shore-side entertainment day and night.
